Demonstrating a continued focus on honoring Haley’s legacy, the Foundation was thrilled to hold its 2021 Golf Classic and Dragonfly Social fundraiser in July. The event was very well attended and a huge success, further enabling the Foundation to increase our support for organizations with year-end financial grants and to continue awarding scholarships.
“2021 had its challenges but the renewed support for our July event demonstrated how the importance of the work being carried out by the Foundation continues to be recognized ” said Marc Cremer, the Foundation’s Co-Founder and Treasurer. “Our focus is stronger than ever as we continue to support the pillars of our mission. The bereavement programs and counseling provided by Hope Floats Healing & Wellness Center, Jeff’s Place, Children’s Friend – The Carriage House, and Wildflower are crucial, exasperated by the continuation of the pandemic, and continue to be a focal point for us . The advances in breast cancer research being carried out at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Yale New Haven Smilow Cancer Hospital and by the American Cancer Society continues to save and prolong lives. The Foundation thanks all those who have recently and in the past supported our meaningful work.”
