The Haley Cremer Foundation Memorial Scholarship At Sharon High School

The Haley Cremer Foundation was founded in 2015 in loving memory of an outgoing, enthusiastic, and compassionate individual. This scholarship is awarded in memory of Haley Cremer, a 2012 graduate of Sharon High School. Haley was tragically killed on Father’s Day, June 15, 2014, by a reckless driver. At the time of her death, Haley was preparing to enter her junior year at Simmons College to continue her studies toward a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Haley is remembered as someone who cared deeply for others, always providing encouragement to those around her. We honor Haley’s legacy through our recognition and support of individuals and organizations exhibiting four core values:

  • Demonstrating Compassion for others
  • Instilling Perseverance in the face of hardship
  • Fostering Insight and recovery
  • Championing Renewal of spirit.

Annually in May, the Haley Cremer Memorial Scholarship committee will award one $2500 scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must be graduating Sharon High School seniors attending a two or four year college or university, illustrate Haley’s core values, and help others through altruistic acts such as community service and volunteerism. The award winner will exemplify, in his or her own way, Haley’s spirit of ‘doing unto others’.
