The Haley Cremer Foundation Memorial Scholarship At Oliver Ames High School

This scholarship is given in memory of Haley Cremer, a 2012 graduate of Sharon High School.  Haley was tragically killed on Father’s Day, June 15, 2014 by a reckless driver. At the time of her death, Haley was a junior at Simmons College, continuing her studies in the DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) program. Haley is remembered by all that knew her as one who cared deeply for others.  She was known for her optimism, love of life, and passion for worthy causes.  Applicants for this scholarship must be planning to continue their studies in physical therapy, athletic training, or the health sciences.  Special consideration will be given to those who exemplify Haley’s core values of compassion, kindness, and helping others through altruistic acts such as community service and volunteerism.  The award winner will exemplify, in his or her own way, Haley’s spirit of ‘doing unto others’.

The scholarship will be granted through the Haley Cremer Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit corporation established to award financial assistance to aspiring physical therapists and associated rehabilitation professionals, medical research organizations, as well as programs dedicated to heal, grow and strengthen families facing profound challenges due to serious illness, trauma or death. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of many, as Haley did during her short time with all of us.
