The Haley Cremer “Do Unto Others” Peer Leadership Award

By November 2, 2015March 18th, 2016News

In 2011, Sharon High School student Haley Cremer was one of ten recipients of the first Norfolk District Attorney Peer Leadership Award presented by District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey. Haley was nominated by SHS for her extraordinary efforts in bullying prevention and policy change.

Tragically, Haley was killed while jogging by an unlicensed and reckless driver on Father’s Day in June 2014. The driver of that car was successfully prosecuted by the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office and is currently incarcerated.

In an effort to encourage students to lead like Haley, the Haley Cremer Do Unto Others Peer Leadership Award will be presented annually to a Norfolk County High School student. To learn more about this exceptional young woman and the impact she had on so many others, please watch this video.
